Ski Slope at Alford

Beginners and advanced skiers are catered for at this ski centre in the west of Alford. The slopes include a 70m Dendix slope with lift, and a 30m training slope with travelator. All equipment can be hired. Tuition is available for skiing and snowboarding from British Association of Snowsport accredited instructors: lessons may be group, private or as part of a private party. The slopes can also be hired and used for tubing.
Cross-country Skiing at Huntly

Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre is Britain's only purpose-built all-weather facility for cross-country skiing, providing tuition at all levels from novice to elite. The facility is run by Aberdeenshire Council and was upgraded with grants from the Big Lottery in 2004.
