Meldrum House Country Hotel and Golf Course is excited to introduce the Golf School, led by Neil Marr, our Head Pro at Meldrum for 24 years who is ranked amongst the UK’s Top 50 golf coaches with Golf Monthly. Neil offers expert, personalised coaching for golfers of all levels, with a focus on tailored instruction that meets your individual needs. Neil’s comprehensive approach covers swing refinement, short game, course management, and mental focus. His lessons include Trackman Screencast summaries, videos, drills and data to ensure real, lasting progress. This 4-day Golf School is designed to improve your all-around game in a structured way, helping you take your new skills to the course with confidence. Please note, participants must have a handicap of no higher than 36. This programme is not suitable for beginners.

| 8am – 12noon | Review of the questionnaire, full swing video review and Trackman data, instruction on swing, chipping, pitching |
| Noon – 1pm | Lunch in Clubhouse |
| 1pm-3pm | Situational practice; using buggies to find situations that will help improve course management such as driving, approach play, short game and putting |
| 7pm | Set dinner in a luxury dining dome, Taste of Aberdeenshire |
TUESDAY
| 7am – 7.45am | Breakfast in Pineapple Grill & Seafood Restaurant |
| 8am – 12noon | Instructions on the practice facility moving around 3 stations of full swing, chipping and bunker shots |
| Noon – 1pm | Lunch in Clubhouse |
| 1pm-3pm | On-course instruction, focusing on sloping lies and trouble. shots |
| 7pm | Dinner in 1236 at the Cave Bar |
WEDNESDAY
| 7am – 7.45am | Breakfast in Pineapple Grill & Seafood Restaurant |
| 8am – 12noon | Instructions on the practice facility, focusing on productive practice and speed training. |

About Knights Golf Course
Ranked among Scotland’s Top 100 by Golf World, Knights Golf Course is one of the finest parkland courses, wrapping around our 800-year-old hotel and extending just over 7,000 yards from the back tees. Designed by Graeme Webster, the course features water hazards on 10 holes and the signature 11th hole, a par 5 guarded by 18 bunkers. With five tee positions at each hole, the course caters to all skill levels.
Meldrum House Golf Academy
World-class practice facilities set in 24 acres within the Meldrum estate. The driving range features grass tees, covered bays and an elevated layout that provides excellent views of several greens. Facilities include excellent ‘Chippers’ Alley’ for short game practice, a dedicated pitching green with bunkers, and a full-size putting green. The range also features Toptracer, the golf industry’s most accurate ball flight tracking system, available in 13 bays.

Golf School Dates:
- 25th to 29th May 2025
- 22nd to 26th June 2025
- 27th to 31st July 2025
- 24th to 28th August 2025
- 21st to 25th September 2025
Terms & Conditions:
A minimum of 4 students is required for the course to go ahead and it is offered subject to availability.
For numbers over 4 a second pro will be joining Neil Marr to assist with the school.
If the minimum number isn’t reached, we reserve the right to cancel and will offer alternative dates or a full refund.
50% deposit is required upon booking, with full pre-payment due two months prior. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 8 weeks of the event.
